So, there I was, sorting through a whole bunch of boxes of old stuff that's never seen the light of day in ages when I found a couple of unlabelled CD's and an old 80gb hard drive so after carefully cleaning said spinny media I discovered this old set, a two-part mix that was recorded during two shows from the series on DanceTraxx web-radio done back in late 2001.

They were inteded to be a promo set as well as broadcast on the net, lots of groovy funky house with no messing about, just gliding mixes letting the tunes speak for themselves.

If you read the setlist some of the tunes weren't exactly "bleeding edge" but who cares. I didn't get into DJ'ing to be the kid with the latest stolen white label bootleg of something or other, i've always been about the music and that's where i'd rather stay.

On the afforementioned 80gb hard drive, I found WMA and WMV versions of a load of my shows which i'm going to try and convert and get online - it's good to have the back catalogue to listen to sometimes, helps see where you came from and where you went.
